  7. SCO Merge is a software solution that enables MS-DOS and MS-Windows software
  8. to run on the SCO UNIX Operating System.  SCO Merge includes an optimized
  9. version of MS DOS 5.0.  Users desiring MS Window 3.1 support, can install the
  10. standard MS Windows 3.1 product.  SCO Merge allows all users to simultaneously
  11. share printers and other standard PC peripherals.  In addition, the system
  12. administrator can give specific users direct, exclusive access to PC hardware
  13. devices and peripherals, such as scanners or fax/modems.  For MS-Windows
  14. applications in VGA mode, SCO Merge supports full-screen operation on the
  15. local console; SCO Merge supports MS-Windows applications at any screen
  16. resolution under the X Windows System or on remote X terminal displays.
  17. Graphical MS-DOS applications are supported via an X Window at CGA, Hercules,
  18. and monochrome resolutions.
